Grains and Echoes
Grains and Echoes Photographic series • Ada Bojana, 1970s FKK Resort “Grains and Echoes” captures a place where time doesn’t disappear, it settles. Shot on Ada Bojana, within an original 1970s FKK resort that still operates today, the series draws on the silence, texture, and atmosphere of a space that feels both alive and suspended. Among brutalist angles, pine trees, and tent-like wooden cabins known as “Darth Vaders,” nature and architecture coexist in a rare, unrepeatable balance. Though time has left its marks, the spirit of the place remains largely untouched. The film The Beauty of Vice, which was filmed here, still lingers in the visual and emotional landscape. “Grains” are particles of light, sand, and memory. “Echoes” are presences that never truly vanished, they’ve simply quieted down.
